Wine made from a selection of pure Nebbiolo grapes, agedin large wooden barrels and further refined in the bottle, whose name is intended as a thank you to all those who for centuries have worked and toiled on these lands, continuing a tradition that for love and stubbornness has come down to us .

Ruby red colour with garnet highlights, intense, complex bouquet, with fruity notes of raspberry, then spicy with hints of pepper and liquorice. Perceptible but not invasive toasted notes that complete the bouquet. Full-bodied, savoury, harmonious but with good intensity, robust tannins as in the best Piedmontese tradition.

It goes well with important main courses, game and meat.

After centuries of family production and winemaking, Cajanto was the first wine from our estate to be put on the market. Being the family wine, it could only be called the way Maria Chiara pronounced "Montecavallo" when she was three years old.

Wine made from Nebbiolo and Vespolina grapes, aged in small French oak barrels. Ruby red colour with violet reflections, intense and fruity bouquet, pleasant, with notes reminiscent of plum and cherry jam; on the palate it is very balanced, pleasant and pliant, with soft tannins.

A wine for the whole meal, easy to drink, it goes well with first courses, meat and cheese.

The legend of Biondin, the last brigand of the Biella area, hovered in my childhood memories. Handsome, elegant and fond of dancing, he loved village festivals and those in the farmhouses after the harvest. A brigand by trade, his gallantry with women protected and saved him for many years: the last romantic brigand.

After repeated experiments in the cellar and as many tastings, we realised that this wine is, to all intents and purposes, a bit of a brigand. It has a truly intriguing flavour and a fascinating persistence.

Wine made from white Erbaluce grapes from the nearby moraine hill of Serra and dried on racks in Montecavallo.

Golden yellow in colour, lively and brilliant, on the nose the sweet notes of honey precede the more sensual citrus notes. In the mouth it is savoured slowly to highlight the harmony that intertwines freshness and sweetness, in a long and persistent finish with notes of vanilla and candied fruit.

It goes well with cheeses, especially blue cheeses, and with desserts and dry biscuits.
